Obituary for Dawn Renee Schumann

Dawn Renee Schumann died on Monday, January 7, 2019 at University Hospital in Newark. She was 48.

Born in Newton, she lived in Clearwater, Florida for 28 years before moving to Hopatcong last August.

She was predeceased by her father, Frederick Schumann.

She is survived by her mother, Annette Maakestad; her sister, Corey-Jo Schumann; her brother, Nicholas Schumann; aunts and uncles: Anne Schumann, Jack (Marybeth) Schumann, Patricia Teabo, Cynthia Babcock, Anthony Jablonski; and several cousins and other extended family. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Pearl.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 11 at 11:00 am at Morgan Funeral Home, 31Main Street, Netcong. Interment will follow at Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Township. Visiting hours will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 – 11:00am.
