Obituary for Rose M. Petty

Rose M. (Togno) Petty of Succasunna, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018. She was 96.

Born in Netcong, she was employed as an electronics assembler at the Picatinny Arsenal for 30 years until her retirement in 1976. She was a parishioner of St. Michael's Church, a member of the Roxbury Senior Citizens and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Rose was predeceased by her husband, John. She is survived by her daughter Carol Petty; her son, Jon; her sister Angie Guerra; her grandson, Thomas J.S. Petty and her great grandsons, Joshua Faas.
Rose was also predeceased by her brother Thomas Togno, and her sisters Concetta (Togno) Bartek, Teresa (Togno) Smith, Viola (Togno) Romano, Marie (Togno) Ritzer, Carolyn (Togno) Trattino and her mom and dad. Rose was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at the Morgan Funeral Home in Netcong on Friday from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Stanhope Union Cemetery.
